The Florida Keys Model Club is an AMA Chartered Club that flies at the Islamorada Village of Islands recreation field and uses the soccer field as its location. A current AMA membership card is required to fly at the park and to provide the insurance coverage to Islamorada, Village of Islands.

We cooperate with the soccer moms and softball/baseball teams and do not fly when they are present on the multiuse field. The softball diamond occupies the northeast end of the general use soccer and baseball fields on the northeast part of the park.

Club interest is in RC gas and electric powered models (fixed wing and helicopters) including scale models. No jets or ducted fans are allowed due to the small size of the field and the adjacent skateboard park and swimming pool. Please do not fly over those areas.
